In a controlled wind-down, the money transmitter is likely to be taken over without service interruption. In the case of some interruption, the money transmitter can be substituted.

In a more serious or “doomsday” scenario in which the entire staff of the money transmitter disappears overnight, the full ledger can still be accessed by our banking partner since the ledger is updated multiple times per day. Furthermore, Mayfair’s own ledger is always updated with any transaction and balance change. In this case, Mayfair, together with the underlying banking partner, will contact customers and can pass on customer instructions for money movement until a new money transmitter is integrated.
